Community Workshops

We have been lucky enough to receive National Lottery funding to provide workshops for parents and carers to help them through some common challenges SEND families face.

We’re delighted to be welcoming Kim Wyrley Birch to Wildflower Meadows for our next workshop, focused on supporting children with dyslexia. This engaging and practical session is designed for parents and carers who would like to better understand how dyslexia presents, recognise their child’s unique strengths, and gain simple, effective strategies to support learning with confidence. The workshop will take place on Friday 18th April from 1–3pm at Wildflower Meadows — we’d love for you to join us.

We’re really pleased to be welcoming Marianne from FunctionAbility to Wildflower Meadows for an insightful and practical workshop on sensory processing.

This session is designed for parents and carers who would like to deepen their understanding of how sensory differences can shape a child’s experiences, behaviours, and responses to the world around them. Marianne will explore what sensory processing is, how it may present in everyday situations, and share gentle, practical strategies to help support regulation and comfort.

This is a supportive and accessible session, offering both understanding and reassurance, with opportunities to reflect and ask questions in a calm, welcoming environment.
