Meet the Team

We're a team of educators, parents, and advocates, many with lived experience of neurodivergence ourselves. We understand because we've been there, and we bring that understanding to everything we do.

    Karen Allen

    Director

    Karen is a qualified teacher and former headteacher with extensive experience in education leadership and child development. As a parent to three children, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience in understanding the diverse needs of children and families. Her passion lies in creating supportive, child-centred spaces where every child can flourish in their own way.

    Michael Sampson

    Director

    Michael is an experienced IT manager and a parent to two AuDHD children. With a strong background in problem-solving, organisation, and digital innovation, he plays a key role in supporting the operational side of Wildflower Meadows. As a co-owner of Inclusive Outsource, he is dedicated to ensuring that neurodivergent young people receive the support and opportunities they deserve.

    Melissa Sampson

    Director & Provision Lead

    Melissa holds a Degree in Children's Learning and Development and has worked with children for over 16 years across a variety of settings, including nurseries, schools, and private households. As a home educating mother to two AuDHD children, Melissa understands the importance of creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued. She is also the owner of Inclusive Outsource, supporting neurodivergent young people in finding the right pathways for their growth and well-being.

  • Emily

    Admin Assistant

    Emily brings a calm, thoughtful presence to Wildflower Meadows, with a strong background in admin and a deep personal understanding of neurodivergence. As a mum of three she knows how powerful the right environment can be for a child’s confidence and wellbeing. Emily is drawn to Wildflower’s values of nurture and individuality, and while her role is mostly behind the scenes, her kindness, patience, and quiet dedication help create the supportive space every child deserves.

  • Amy

    Lead Facilitator

    Amy brings lots of creativity and a strong relational approach to Wildflower Meadows. A trained drama teacher with many years’ experience supporting young people with additional needs, she understands the importance of emotional safety in learning. Amy helps create a calm space where young people can build confidence, express themselves and discover their strengths at their own pace. She loves Wildflower’s child led ethos and the everyday moments of connection, laughter and small wins that happen here.

  • Amanda

    Facilitator

    Amanda brings calm, experience, and a love of the outdoors to Wildflower Meadows. With a background as a teacher and SENCo, she has a deep understanding of how children learn best through curiosity and play. Whether she’s sharing stories from history, cooking over the fire, or exploring nature with the young people, Amanda creates a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and free to learn in their own way. She loves Wildflower’s gentle, nurturing ethos and the freedom it gives each child to grow at their own pace.

  • Joe

    Facilitator

    Joe brings warmth, creativity, and a deep belief in every child’s right to be celebrated for who they are. As a therapeutic counsellor and someone with lived experience of dyslexia, Joe understands how powerful it can be when young people are supported to embrace their differences and build a strong sense of self. He is passionate about nurturing confidence, connection, and joy through playful, relationship based support.

How We're Organised

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), Wildflower Meadows is led by a dedicated team of directors and supported by experienced facilitators who work directly with children and families every day.

Every member of our team brings something unique: professional expertise, lived experience, and a genuine understanding of what it means to support neurodivergent children. We're parents, educators, and advocates who believe that the right environment can change everything.
