Wildflower Meadows provides a self directed and nurturing alternative provision for children and young people aged 6–16 who are unable to access education due to SEND, neurodivergence, EBSA or other complex needs. We welcome referrals from Local Authorities, schools and families throughout the year, offering flexible, personalised placements tailored to each young person's individual needs.
Why Wildflower?
Meaningful Outcomes
Success looks different for every young person. We measure progress through improved wellbeing, engagement, independence, relationships and confidence, alongside personalised EHCP outcomes and regular review reports.
Self-Directed Provision
Young people are trusted to lead their own way through meaningful, real life experiences. Our low demand approach reduces anxiety, increases engagement and enables intrinsic motivation to develop naturally. This approach is highly beneficial for those who are demand avoidant or have a PDA profile.
Barriers to Education
We support young people experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), anxiety, low attendance, school breakdown or those awaiting a suitable long-term placement.
Flexible Placements
We work alongside mainstream schools, specialist schools, EOTAS packages, home education and Local Authorities to provide bespoke support tailored to each young person's individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
Tiered Fee Structure
Tier 1 Universal Support
Tier 1 is for young people who can access our self directed environment with shared adult support. This tier includes all core elements of a Wildflower placement, including our relationship led approach, small group provision, safeguarding oversight, attendance monitoring, professional communication, reports and review meetings.
Tier 2 Enhanced Support
Tier 2 is designed for young people who require increased levels of adult support throughout the day to successfully access the provision. This may include more frequent co-regulation, enhanced sensory support, additional assistance during transitions and a greater staffing commitment to ensure the young person can engage safely and meaningfully. This tier includes everything offered within Tier 1, with staffing levels adjusted to reflect the increased level of need.
Tier 3 Intensive Support
Tier 3 is for young people with the highest levels of need, where significant staffing adjustments are required to maintain safety, emotional regulation and engagement. These placements often involve near 1:1 support, enhanced risk management and highly personalised approaches. Funding reflects the additional staffing and resources required to provide safe, personalised support whilst maintaining the quality of provision for all young people attending Wildflower Meadows.
